Sheriff's K9 Assists State Trooper, Traffic Stop Yields 31 Pounds Of Marijuana

NEBRASKA CITY – A sheriff’s K9 unit assisted the Nebraska State Patrol in an arrest and seizure of 31 pounds of marijuana on Sept. 15.
A state trooper stopped a car on a 45 mph zone of Highway 2 and the K9 unit was requested when the occupants denied permission to search.
Billy Wright, 37, of Burton, Mich., and Kennedy Gadson, 67, of Flint, Mich., are suspected of delivery of a controlled substance.
