Update: The Otoe County Sheriff's Office reports a warrant arrest of Travis Hutchins, 37, of Nebraska City on Sept. 16.
NEBRASKA CITY – An Otoe County court has issued an arrest warrant for 37-year-old Travis Hutchins of Nebraska City alleging operating a motor vehicle to avoid arrest on Sept. 8.
A Nebraska State Patrol affidavit says Hutchins fled a Highway 75 traffic stop and accelerated to speeds of 97 mph on south 11th Street after reaching Nebraska City.
The state trooper discontinued the pursuit, but told the court that police located a pickup registered to Hutchins still running near Fourth Corso and 17th Street.
The pickup was towed.
