Sheriff Grateful For Cookout Kindness

PLATTSMOUTH – The Cass County Sheriff’s Office is expressing its gratitude today for an act of kindness.

Josh Armstrong, his father Doug, and their neighbors in Buccaneer Bay brought their grill to the sheriff’s office and police station in Plattsmouth. They cooked hamburgers and hotdogs and served potato salad, chips and cookies.

Sheriff William Brueggemann said the kindness does not go unnoticed.

Brueggemann: “It’s wonderful people such as these that make a difference and prove to the ‘haters’ out there, that there are people who appreciate law enforcement.“

The sheriff says Cass County is filled with these type of wonderful people.
