Pierce Charged With Meth Delivery Near School

NEBRASKA CITY – Chastity Pierce, 26, of Talmage was sentenced to prison Monday for methamphetamine convictions.
She was sentenced to one to three years on a delivery charge Nov. 22 and a consecutive six months to a year for possession on Nov. 10.
Pierce was arrested Aug. 24 and later charged with meth delivery near a school. She is scheduled for a court hearing on that case on Nov. 4.
The Aug. 24 arrest came after an Otoe County sheriff’s deputy saw her driving with two children in the back of her car to the Nebraska City Middle School around 7:40 a.m.
Court records say an inventory search of her car yielded 7 grams of meth in a pink bag. The deputy told the court Pierce had held the pink bag when he contacted her near the middle school.
The arrest affidavit says Pierce was taken to CHI Health St. Mary's for a medical evaluation because of statements she made after the deputy confronted her about the contents of the pink bag.
Pierce is scheduled to be sentenced today on meth delivery on Nov. 22 and meth possession on Nov. 10.
