Huey, Hays Suspected Of Meth Possession

AUBURN – Stacey Huey, 30, of Nemaha and Lance Hays, 41, of Shubert are charged with possession of methamphetamine on Aug. 11.

A deputy sheriff stopped a pickup truck on Highway 136 while investigating a report of criminal mischief in Auburn.

An arrest affidavit says a loaded syringe and a small amount of meth were found.

The sheriff's office was called on a report of people taking things from cars parked near garages across from the Orscheln store. The men were stopped east of Auburn and deny involvement in the criminal mischief.
