Warrant Issued After Fight In Women's Unit Of Cass County Jail

PLATTSMOUTH – The Cass County Attorney’s Office has filed assault charges following a fight on March 30 in the women’s housing unit at the county jail.

An arrest warrant was issued for 30-year-old Rebecca Norman of Bellevue after corrections officers reviewed jail cameras.

An arrest affidavit says the 5’7” Norman pulled another inmate's hair and punched her while she tried to defend herself. The alleged victim was taken down to the floor before a third inmate broke up the fight.

Both inmates involved in the fight refused medical treatment.
