AUBURN – Southeast District Health Department has confirmed 12 additional cases of coronavirus within the district.

The new cases comprise of nine in Nemaha County, two in Otoe County and one in Johnson County.

A press release says all identified close contacts will be asked to self-quarantine.

The cumulative total as of Aug. 12 is 143 cases.
