Police conduct narcotics investigation after report of high foot traffic
NEBRASKA CITY – Charges alleging distribution of methamphetamine have been filed against a Nebraska City pair following a search of an Eighth Avenue home on Monday.
Bonds of $30,000 were set in Otoe County Court for Patrick Lane, 58, and Michelle Carlson, 51.
Court records say 2x1.5 inch plastic bags were found in an upstairs bedroom, including two that contained meth. An arrest affidavit says a scale with residue was found in Lane’s car.
A third person living in the house, 23-year-old Christopher Carlson, is charged with possession of meth and marijuana.
A search warrant was issued following a report of heavy foot traffic and a police investigation.
An affidavit says police received a tip on July 3 regarding a video chat about drug activity.
