Multiple Meth Arrests At Humboldt

FALLS CITY – The Richardson County Attorney’s Office has filed multiple methamphetamine possession charges in Humboldt.
Lane Ferris, 25, of Hiawatha, Kan., was stopped in Humboldt on May 28. A Richardson County sheriff’s deputy told prosecutors that Ferris gave a false name, but it was determined he was subject of an active arrest warrant in Kansas.
An affidavit says meth was found in the vehicle during an inventory search.
Mindy Scott, 54, was arrested after deputies served a search warrant at a Second Street residence in Humboldt.
Court records say deputies found a broken pipe with meth residue on the floor of a basement bedroom.
A Humboldt couple faces methamphetamine charges after sheriff’s deputies were called for a domestic disturbance.
Deputies responded July 18 to a Fourth Street disturbance and say they arrived during an argument between 53-year-old Michael Creamer and 52-year-old Melanie Beemer.
Sheriff deputies say two plates holding a razor blade and methamphetamine were found in the residence.
The sheriff's office reported earlier in August a search warrant service on a resident in rural Humboldt that resulted in four arrests for suspicion of possession, including an arrest for intent to distribute.
