FALLS CITY – A Falls City man is charged with using a motor vehicle to avoid arrest after a police pursuit that began at a White Cloud Casino parking lot and was terminated at the Missouri River bridge at Rulo.

Kyle Wissler, 34, is accused of driving 124 mph in a 50 mph zone and numerous traffic infractions during a pursuit on July 10.

An officer with the Iowa Tribe Police Department told the court that he attempted a traffic stop after Falls City police reported an earlier pursuit of dark grey Pontiac on July 6.

The officer said the driver picked up a female at the casino before the pursuit and she got out of the car and headed toward the Swinging Door Saloon once they got to Rulo.  The officer discontinued the pursuit at the river bridge going into Missouri.

Wissler was later interviewed at the Holt County Sheriff’s Office.
