Nebraska City Traffic Stops Result In Parole Arrest, Assault, Drug Charges

NEBRASKA CITY – Recent Nebraska City traffic stops have resulted in a parole violation arrest, assault on an officer and illegal drug charges.
Christopher Wilson, 28, of Nebraska City is charged with an assault on an officer and criminal impersonation on Aug. 1.
An arrest affidavit says police placed Wilson under arrest on a warrant out of Kansas alleging a Topeka Correction Facility parole violation. The affidavit says Wilson headbutted an officer after he was handcuffed.
The affidavit says Wilson identified himself with a false name during a traffic stop prior to the arrest.
Dmonte Kinney, 20, of Durham, North Carolina is charged with possession and criminal impersonation on July 30.
An arrest affidavit says Kinney gave a sheriff’s deputy a false name after a traffic stop. The deputy told the court he found Oxycodone hydrochloride pills inside of a shoe worn by Kinney.
Austin Haler, 32, of Sidney, Iowa, is charged in Otoe County with possession of methamphetamine on Aug. 2.
An arrest affidavit says Haler was a passenger in a vehicle police stopped on 11th Street.
Police say a glass pipe, used syringes and a loaded syringe were found in the car.
