Hawes Imprisoned For Firearm Possession

PLATTSMOUTH – Christopher Hawes, 38, of Plattsmouth was sentenced to three years in prison for possession of a firearm by a felon in December of 2019 and a year for child abuse.

Court records say sheriff deputies searched his residence and found a Hi Point Model 995 rifle in a travel trailer.

Prosecutors say a minor was endangered in December of 2019. A Charge of distribution of marijuana was dropped.
