PLATTSMOUTH – A Plattsmouth man who is serving a probation sentence while completing drug court has been arrested for suspicion of stealing copper from a communications tower.

Joseph Gillott, 36, is suspected of breaking into the Future Technologies tower on 96th Street in Cass County. Cable, wire and communication equipment were taken.

A sheriff’s office press release says an investigation led to Gillott and two accomplices. Gillott was arrested Thursday and arrest warrants have been issued for two others.

Gillott was jailed for two days in July for drug court violations.
