Drivers Checked Out After Highway Collision

PLATTSMOUTH -  Cass County Sheriff William Brueggemann reports a collision Monday at the intersection of highways 75 and 66.

A Dodge Grand Caravan, driven by 34-year-old Katherine Meyer of Plattsmouth was southbound on Highway 75. A Chevrolet Silverado, driven by 33-year-old Matthew Harris of Bellevue was northbound on Highway 75.

A sheriff’s office press release says Meyer attempted to turn the van east onto 8th Avenue, striking the northbound truck.

The sheriff says all parties were checked out medically on scene, but did not require transport.
