Woman Who Asked Police To Search For Intruder Sentenced For Attempted Possession
Martindale enters no contest plea
FALLS CITY – A woman who was convicted of attempted methamphetamine possession after she asked police to check her apartment for intruders has been sentenced to probation.
Karen Martindale, 59, of Falls City entered a no contest plea and was sentenced to 15 months probation.
She was arrested Nov. 5 after police were dispatched to McClean Street regarding a woman knocking on doors and asking for help. Court records say the woman told residents that someone had placed parasites in her coffee.
Police accompanied the woman to her apartment on Fulton Street, but did not find an intruder.
