Falls City Chamber and Main Street posted on its Facebook page Tuesday the cancellation of this year’s Cobblestone  Festival.

The Cobblestone Planning Committee had announced the winning theme of Hollywood Red Carpet for the annual festival in March.

 

Tuesday’s  post says cancellation was a hard decision to make, but says the state’s phase 3 guidelines do not allow for parades or carnivals. The Cobblestone Festival had been scheduled Aug. 20-23.

The Falls City Area Jaycees are still planning to hold the demolition derby on Saturday, Aug. 22, at the community field.
