Burglary Suspect Charged With Public Indecency

PLATTSMOUTH – Cass County Sheriff William Brueggemann reports the arrest of a nude burglary suspect.

Deputies were dispatched Sunday, July 5, to Plattevale Drive in Ashland on a report of an unknown man chasing a female outside a residence.

A sheriff’s office press release says dispatch was informed that the man was completely nude and was holding a sharp object. He was later identified as 26-year-old Jacob Rasmussen of Council Bluffs.

The sheriff says a neighbor, who was watching the homeowner’s dog while she was away, discovered Rasmussen inside the residence.

The press release says Rasmussen chased the woman around the property while holding a screw driver until he was eventually cornered by the neighbor’s husband.

The sheriff says Rasmussen told investigators he had consumed LSD and had been drinking.

He is suspected burglary,  terroristic threats, possession of a deadly weapon and public indecency.
