Wind Warning Issued For Eastern Nebraska
Gusts up to 60 mph expected to down power lines, threaten high-profile vehicles

OMAHA – The National Weather Service has issued a high wind warning for areas of eastern Nebraska from 7 p.m. today until 7 a.m. on Wednesday morning.
North winds of 20 to 30 mph are forecast with gusts up to 60 mph expected.
The warning area includes Douglas, Sarpy, Cass, Otoe, Gage, Johnson and Pawnee counties.
Possible impacts include toppled trees, widespread power outages and difficult travel for high-profile vehicles.
The weather service says people should avoid being outside in forested areas around trees and branches.
A flash flood watch continues through Wednesday morning.
