PLATTSMOUTH-The Cass County Sheriff's Office reports a bulldozer pursuit began just before 7:00am Friday morning about a half mile north of Rock Bluff Road on Highway 75.

Cass County Sheriff's Deputies tried to make contact with the driver who then drove across Highway 75 into a field, and headed  north towards the airport.  Deputies were able to block the path of bulldozer at which point the driver turned south, and crossed Waverly Road.

The bulldozer ultimately stopped in the middle of a field where Deputies were able to make contact.  After an hour of talking the driver was arrested and identified as 39 year old Chad Thiessen. Thiessen reinforced the bulldozer with lumber and timber to avoid being stopped.

Thiessen was taken to the Cass County Sheriff's Office and charged with numerous violations. The investigation is ongoing.
