CASS COUNTY- The Cass County Courthouse closed today after an employee tested positive for COVID-19.

Cass County Board of Commissioners Chairman  Dan Henry expects the courthouse to be opened on Tuesday after deep cleansing is made.

He also said that the person who tested positive is not suffering any major symptoms.

The county reopened public buildings on May 12. Policy requiring masks at courthouse went into effect May 18. 

As of today, 404 positive cases and three deaths related to COVID-19 have been reported in the Sarpy/Cass Health Department.
