FALLS CITY – Joshua Darden, 41, of Falls City has been sentenced to probation on a July 9 meth possession charge.

Darden and his attorney appeared at court on video. Darden was sentenced to two years probation.

Police served a “knock and announce” search warrant at Darden’s Fulton Street residence and say a pipe tested positive for meth residue.

In a plea agreement, prosecutors dropped a weapons charge involving a folding knife found in the residence.

Darden is scheduled for a June 2 hearing on a separate meth charge.
