TECUMSEH - The coronavirus pandemic has halted this summer's opening of Tecumseh's new aquatic center,  in what the mayor describes as a difficult decision that was made after strong recommendations from the CDC and specially from the League of Risk Management.

The Southeast District Health Department measure prohibits public gatherings of 10 or more. It includes indoor and outdoor events.

The mayor assures that they made the decision thinking on the people who had applied for summer pool jobs.
