Falls City Names Bek For Transportation
Tyler Bek to fill post left by 32-year-employee Robert Baker
FALLS CITY - Falls City Public Schools announced Tuesday the hiring of Tyler Bek as the new transportation director beginning in August.
Bek will begin transitioning into the new position beginning May 18th, and take over responsibility for the district's transportation department on Aug. 1, upon the retirement of Robert Baker.
Baker has led the district's transportation department for the past 32 years.
Bek earned his associates degree in diesel technology from Southeast Community College and is currently the owner of Bek Inc.
He is a 1983 graduate of Falls City High School.
