WEEPING WATER - Cass County Sheriff William Brueggemann reports a criminal mischief charge in Weeping Water following a fishing incident.

The sheriff says deputies and Weeping Water rescue were dispatched to a 156th Street location for an injury incident.

A press release says deputies learned  that 30-year-old Joshua Price of Alabama and 44-year-old  Jack Schooler of Omaha had been fishing on the private pond at the residence. Price reportedly injured his shoulder while lifting his child.

Schooler drove Price to 156th street to meet with Weeping Water rescue.

The sheriff says the men argued with property owner Steve Meyer, 67, before Schooler drove the vehicle onto Meyer's lawn. The sheriff says the lawn was damaged and Schooler was cited for criminal mischief.
