Sheriff Expects Drug Charges After Pursuit
Tire deflation devices used to bring pursuit of Pontiac G6 to an end
AUBURN – The Nemaha County Sheriff’s Office reports a police pursuit at Auburn early Thursday morning.
A press release says a sheriff’s deputy attempted a traffic stop on a Pontiac G6 shortly after midnight on the edge of Auburn, but the Pontiac did not stop.
The sheriff says tire deflation devices were deployed and the pursuit ended on 730 Road just outside of Auburn.
Jacob McVay, 19, is suspected of operating a motor vehicle to avoid arrest, tampering with evidence, possession of a controlled substance and driving under suspension.
