Photos: Biggest Snow Waits 'Til April
NEBRASKA CITY - A winter storm warning is in effect until 7 a.m. on Friday for Lincoln, Plattsmouth, Nebraska City, Hamburg and Sidney.
Accumulations of 5 to 8 inches of snow are forecast.
If you travel, keep an extra flashlight, food and water in case your vehicle is stalled.

7:53 a.m. - The Falls City airport reports mostly cloudy skies at 37 degrees with wind gusts up to 29 mph

10 a.m. - Nebraska Department of Roads camera shows snow on Highway 2 at Ellsworth, 27 miles west of Hyannis, Neb.
11:20 - Rain at Highway 2 near Dunning
11:22 - Light rain at Brenner Field in Falls City
11:52 - NWS issues winter weather warning for Cass, Lancaster and Otoe County until 7 a.m. on Friday. 2 to 5" accumulation forecasted.

1:23 p.m. - snowfall at Missouri River bridge, Nebraska City
3:35 p.m. - Nebraska City airport reports light snow
3:42 p.m. - OPPD power outage map shows 32 in Douglas County and 64 in Sarpy.
