AUBURN – An Auburn man faces drug distribution charges after a teen was hospitalized for side effects of taking pills.

An arrest affidavit says 18-year-old  Tristan Brownmiller sold Adderall and methylphenidate pills to a 16-year-old teen at the parking lot of the Auburn Recreation Complex.

The teen’s mother called sheriff deputies from the Nemaha County Hospital, where the teen told investigators he had taken some of the purchased pills.

Brownmiller is charged with distribution of a controlled substance and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

Methylphenidate is an addictive stimulant used to treat attention deficit disorder. Adderall is amphetamine salt mixture, also used to treat attention deficit disorder.
