Lincoln announces first case of community spread

LINCOLN - Lincoln Mayor Leirion Gaylor Baird announced the first case of community spread in Lincoln on Thursday.

The Lincoln/Lancaster Health Department reports 146 tests, three positives and two pending.

The mayor said gatherings of any size are not allowed at schools, fitness centers, auditoriums, meeting halls, libraries, theaters.

Businesses that can not keep a six-foot distance, such as nail salons, are also closed.

Childcare centers can operate where group of 10 can be separated into different rooms.
