Accuweather Says Blizzard Could Be In Forecast Later This Week

STATE COLLEGE - The AccuWeather Global Weather Center reported today that an intense storm could move to the center of the country later this week.

The storm system is forecast to bring snow to the Sierra Nevada and the inter mountain West on Wednesday.

Warm, humid air is being pulled northward from the Gulf of Mexico, which will bring highs in the 60s, and will collide with cold air dropping temperatures to the 30s.

In it’s three-day forecast, the Storm Prediction Center in Norman, Okla., shows marginal risk for severe thunderstorms in Kansas reaching northward to the Nebraska border.
