SIDNEY, Ia. – The Fremont County Sheriff’s Office arrested 27-year-old Anahi Andrade of Muscatine, Iowa, in connection with an attempted murder investigation.

Anahi is the wife of Pedro Andrade, who was arrested in El Paso, Texas, while attempting to enter the United States from Mexico.

Pedro Andrade is suspected of pushing a man from a grain bin in Hamburg  because he suspected the man was having a love affair with Anahi. An arrest warrant was issued for Andrade when the man awoke from a coma.

A sheriff’s office press release says Anahi was aware there was an arrest warrant out for Pedro, but assisted him as he fled the United States. US Marshalls arrested Andrade on Feb. 14.

Both Anahi Andrade and Pedro Andrade are being held at the Fremont County Jail on $100,000 cash bonds.
