Advisory Warns of Icy Monday

VALLEY- The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory from 5 a.m to 6 p.m. on Monday.

The advisory includes 12 counties from David City in Butler County to Nebraska City. Cass, Otoe and Johnson are impacted. Portions of southwest Iowa are in the advised area.

Freezing drizzle is expected with a light glaze of ice expected. Wind gusts could be as high as 35 mph.

Very slippery sidewalks, roads and bridges are possible.
