Lourdes Bots Advancing In Robotic Competition
State tournament scheduled Feb. 22 at Strategic Air and Space Museum
NEBRASKA CITY – The Lourdes Bots are advancing to the First Lego League State Tournament at the Strategic Air and Space Museum on Feb. 22.
Physical Science Teacher Ellen Wulf said she is proud of the team’s robot design and robot game.
Wulf: “ They are talented problem solvers, wonderful teammates, and they sure know how to make learning fun. We had a successful weekend and I am looking forward to continuing to perfect our project and work on the robot game.”
The team is planning to meet with the Nebraska City City Council.
The First Lego League championship at the Strategic Air and Space Museum on Feb. 22 features 1,000 youth in robotics competition. The top 48 First Lego League teams are among the top five regional qualifiers around the state.
