GLENWOOD - The Mills County Sheriff’s Office reports a narcotic arrest and two high-speed chases on Thursday.

The sheriff’s office arrested a 46-year-old Council Bluffs man on suspicion of  eluding arrests and numerous traffic violations including unsafe passing, failure to obey stop signs, reckless driving and driving under suspension.

Todd Kirsten Jensen, who was arrested in Glenwood, is also suspected of possession of a controlled substance.

A sheriff’s office press release says Jensen drove through Glenwood at speeds near 90 mph. The pursuit ended when Jensen's Jeep crashed into a garage.

The sheriff’s office also reports a chase on a gravel road involving a 1997 Buick driven by 29-year-old Jerrad Nelsen of Craig.

The speeding Buick was unable to make a curve and hit a driveway and mailbox before coming to a stop.
