Parsons Charged With Garage Burglary
Nebraska City man awaiting sentencing on methamphetamine faces new charges
NEBRASKA CITY – A Nebraska City man, who is scheduled for sentencing Feb. 3 for possession of methamphetamine, is facing a new charge of burglary.
24-year-old Matthew Parsons entered a guilty plea to possession after he was stopped in July with numerous antiques in his vehicle. In a separate case, he was fined $25 for criminal trespassing in March.
The burglary charge accuses Parsons of forcing a door open on a residential garage on north 17th Street.
The owner of the garage confronted Parsons and detained him until police arrived.
