Ruse Check Point Yields Cocaine Charges
NEBRASKA CITY – Cocaine charges have been filed in Otoe County after a ruse checkpoint was conducted New Year’s Eve on Highway 2.
Court records say charges are filed against 21-year-old Jordan Pettigrew of Douglas and 20-year-old Dalton Mastera of Ceresco.
Court records say Pettigrew voluntarily pulled off of Highway 2 and onto a county road when she saw signs indicated a check point was ahead.
State troopers say Pettigrew stopped her car on the county road even though state troopers had not directed her to stop.
Court records say $300 worth of cocaine had been purchased in Lincoln.
