Firefighters Respond To Overnight Hay Bale Fire
Nebraska City provides mutual aid to Nehawka and Union

By News Channel NebraskaNEBRASKA CITY – Fifteen Nebraska City firefighters responded to a mutual aid call at 10:52 p.m. Tuesday for a hay bale fire a quarter mile west of roads 58 and B.
The hay was inside a steel Quonset shed. The Nebraska City tanker was released at 2 a.m.
Nehawka, Union and Murray firefighters also responded.
