PLATTSMOUTH – Cass County sheriff's deputies, along with Plattsmouth Fire and Rescue and Plattsmouth police, were dispatched Sunday morning to a Highway 75 accident with air bag deployment.

A sheriff’s office press release says a 2014 Kia Optima, driven by 18-year-old Bonnie Kort of Lincoln, was westbound on Highway 66 and a 2017 Hyundai Sonata, driven by 87-year-old John Barnhill of Lincoln, was northbound on Highway 75.

Both drivers were checked out by Plattsmouth Rescue and refused transport.
