Cass County Deputies End 2019 With Three Arrests
Separate arrests allege disruption of public service, shoplifting and dangerous weapons
PLATTSMOUTH – The Cass County Sheriff’s Office concluded 2019 with three felony arrests.
Lance Ossenkop, 25, of Alvo is charged with criminal mischief and theft on Dec. 27.
Paul Whitmore, 26, is charged with felony shoplifting on Dec. 10.
Bomgaars employees say a man entered the store with a heater box in his cart, replaced it with a heater box off of the shelf and attempted to return the new heater for cash.
Gary Napier Jr., 52, of Omaha is charged with possession of a deadly weapon by a felon.
A deputy sheriff stopped Napier on Highway 75 shortly after midnight on Christmas Day.
Court records say two knives were found beneath seats in the car.
