SIDNEY – Fremont County sheriff’s deputies stopped a vehicle for speeding on 200th Street near Percival shortly after midnight on Friday.

A search of the vehicle revealed 9.04 ounces of a brown liquid that tested as methamphetamine.

Arrested were 26-year-old Allen McGinnis of North Platte and a passenger, 36-year-old Pamela Cahoy of Thurman.

A Fremont County Sheriff’s Office press release says that, upon entering the jail, it was discovered that Cahoy had about 10 grams of meth concealed on her person.

Cahoy is suspected of introducing drugs into a correctional facility.
