NEBRASKA CITY – Nebraska City police sorted out a domestic disturbance early Sunday morning that has resulting in allegations of strangulation, threats and spitting at officers.

Police say 34-year-old Lindsey Keran is suspected of assaulting an intimate partner at their Nebraska City residence. The alleged victim’s brother, 37-year-old Jeffrey Ervin, intervened. He is accused of terroristic threats and strangulation.

Police say Keran would not cooperate with arresting officers, kicked an officer and spit.

In other action Sunday, police arrested 27-year-old Jose Sanchez on a fugitive warrant and for suspicion of possession of a controlled substance.

The Otoe County Sheriff’s Office arrested 33-year-old Steven Crewdson on a warrant for failure to appear  and suspicion of receiving stolen property.
Police located a vehicle that had been reported stolen out of Auburn at the Lied Lodge and Conference Center.
