Child Pornography Charges Filed Against Beaver Lake Man Serving Time In Prison
Investigator says 48 images and 39 videos involved children under the age of 16
By News Channel NebraskaPLATTSMOUTH – The Cass County attorney’s office has filed a new charge of child pornography against a former Beaver Lake resident who is currently serving a sentence at the Tecumseh State Correctional Institute.
Devin Watt, 47, is charged with 10 counts on Jan. 30, 2018, when Cass County deputies served a search warrant of his home and seized his cell phone.
An arrest affidavit said images on the phone were shown to a pediatrician who identified 48 images and 39 videos as involving children under the age of 16.
Watt is serving a 15-year sentence for attempted sexual assault of a child in Sarpy County and will be eligible for parole in 2028. He began serving the sentence in August of 2018.
