Transit Bus With Seven Passengers Hit

Minor injuries reported to passengers in public transit bus

NEBRASKA CITY – Seven people were checked out at CHI Health St. Mary’s on Friday after a Blue Rivers Area Agency on Aging bus was hit at the intersection of 12th Street and Fourth Avenue in Nebraska City.

A police report says the driver of the Ford cutaway van, 63-year-old Wayne Foreman, went through a stop sign. A 1998 Jeep driven by Zachary Whitten, 17, hit the side of the van.

Minor injuries were reported to Ayub Musa, Amudi Musa, Khamis Musa, Sabir, Musa, Bol Bol, Aliir Marial and Miyon Bol.
