NEBRASKA CITY – Chase Borrego, 25, of Nebraska City was sentenced to 270 days for criminal trespassing on Dec. 29 and time served on a drug charge.

He was sentenced to 142 days in jail with credit for 79 days served for attempted possession of a methamphetamine on July 14.

The county prosecutor and public defender recommended a sentence of time served.

Police arrested Borrego on a separate warrant in July while responding to a noise complaint on Fifth Corso. Court records say methamphetamine was found during a jail entrance search.
