PERU – The Distinguished Speaker Series at Peru State College will host David Thoreson at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 30, at the Performing Arts Center.

Thoreson, the first American in history to sale both directions through the Arctic Ocean’s northwest passage, combines storytelling and visuals about extreme polar adventures. He offers his eye witness account of climate change.
