Highway 2 Work Scheduled Monday, Sept. 30

LINCOLN  — The Nebraska Department of Transportation expects pavement work on Highway 2 to begin Sept. 30.

The work area will extend from Palmyra to east of Unadilla. Repairs are being made in both directions, but one lane will be open.

The pavement work will 10 working days.

Work is also scheduled on I Street in Palmyra beginning Oct. 7.

Paulsen Inc., of Cozad has a $412,000 contract to construce a turn lane with street lighting at Highway 2.

Motorists may expect slight delays and are reminded to drive cautiously through highway work zones.
