Otoe County Charges Pair For Smokiez Edibles

NEBRASKA CITY – Two North Carolina men are charged in Otoe County with felony possession of concentrated cannabis.

A sheriff’s deputy stopped Paul Tillman, 40, and Brian Hammonds, 37, on Highway 2 shortly after 9 p.m. Sept. 15 for no headlights.

An arrest affidavit says the deputy found four packages of Smokiez Edibles in plain sight. Each package is purported to contain 100 mg of THC. A vape pen also found in the car is said to have THC oil.

The men were held on $5,000 bonds.
