Corps of Engineers Plan River Update Meetings At Sioux City, Nebraska City In October
Weather Service to provide update on hydrologic conditions
NEBRASKA CITY – The US Army Corps of Engineers in planning seven meetings in October regarding Missouri River operations.
A press release from the Northwestern Division Public Affairs Office says the purpose of the meetings is to provide updates on current hydrologic conditions and review operation of the mainstem reservoir system.
Presenters will include staff from the National Weather Service and the Missouri River Water Management Division.
A 4 p.m. meeting is scheduled Wednesday, Oct. 23, at the Sioux City Lewis and Clark Interpretative Center, 900 Larsen Park Road.
A 5 p.m. meeting is scheduled on Thursday, Oct. 24, at the Lied Lodge and Conference Center in Nebraska City.
Meetings are also scheduled at Fort Peck, Mont., Bismarck, N.D., Fort Pierre, S.D., Smithville, Mo., and Jefferson City, Mo.
