PLATTSMOUTH  - Cass County Sheriff William Brueggemann reports the arrest of an Iowa man accused of trying to sell a stolen Bobcat skid steer in Nebraska.

The sheriff says 34-year-old William Bonar of Bayard is suspected of listing the skid steer on the Internet trading platform Craig’s List and hauling the equipment to a buyer near Buccaneer Bay on Monday.

Investigators say the Bobcat and 18-foot Conchrite trailer had been stolen. Bonar had worked for the owner of the equipment.

Bonar was taken to the county jail. He was accompanied by his three and four-year-old daughters, who were cared for until their mother arrived to pick them up.
