PERU – State Sen. Julie Slama has Tweeted about her selection to testify before the U.S. Senate regarding Nebraska’s effort to fight human trafficking.

The Senate’s National Security and International Trade & Finance Subcommittee is holding a field hearing in Lincoln on Sept. 3.

Slama introduced legislation to eliminate the statute of limitation on human trafficking and allow wire tapping for investigators.
