Warrant Issued Over Theft Of Painting

FALLS CITY – A Richardson County judge has issued an arrest warrant for Natalie Auxier, 47, of Dawson for suspicion of burglary.

Deputy Richardson County Attorney Samantha Scheitel sought the warrant based on an investigation by Sheriff Rick Hardesty.

An affidavit says Buckley Auxier had been jailed for violation a protection order. When he was released from custody, he found that his house in Dawson had been ransacked. Items missing included a television, playstation, clothes, kitchen pans and a Rembrandt reproduction of boats on the ocean.

Hardesty reported that Natalie Auxier had earlier complained to him that Buckley Auxier had her painting. The sheriff reports finding the painting at Natalie Auxier’s residence.
